Elizabeth Sankarsingh

Strategy Advisor Wise Resource Development

Liz Sankarsingh is a dynamic arts advocate, fundraiser, and nonprofit consultant based in the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex, with over eight years of experience in nonprofit arts administration. Specializing in fundraising, grant writing, events, and program management, Liz is dedicated to uplifting and amplifying the voices of organizations and individuals serving traditionally disinvested communities.


Currently serving as a Strategy Advisor at Wise Resource Development since January 2024, Liz brings her expertise in strategic planning and major donor cultivation to the forefront. Prior to this role, she was the Development Manager at Arts in a Changing America (ArtChangeUS) in New York, where she crafted a fundraising strategy for a small nonprofit arts organization and secured a $100K verbal commitment within four months of her tenure. Liz also served as Development Manager for Indian American Impact in Philadelphia, leading event logistics and fundraising for the 2023 annual gala, among other accomplishments.


Liz's earlier experiences include strengthening operations as the Office and Grants Manager at Brass Tacks Collective in Dallas, Texas, and managing several arts and culture programs focused on human rights, social justice, and environmental justice as Program Manager for Ignite/Arts Dallas at Southern Methodist University. She also worked as Advancement Coordinator for Southern Methodist University, where she managed CRM data and supported development efforts, and as a Development Associate at Undermain Theatre in Dallas/Fort Worth Area, significantly increasing revenue through her grant writing efforts.


Liz holds a Master of Liberal Studies with a concentration in Creative Writing from Southern Methodist University, where she honed her skills in liberal arts and sciences. She also studied Theater at Roosevelt University and earned a Bachelor of Arts in Theatre from the Santa Fe University of Art and Design. Her extensive experience, coupled with her educational background, makes Liz a formidable advocate for the arts and a valuable asset to any organization looking to make a meaningful impact in their community.
